For most people, their home is the biggest investment they will ever make. It should be a reflection of the personality of the family living in it and be specifically designed around the lifestyle of that family.

That is the general philosophy of us here at Rick Nutter Designs. Before anything is put down on paper, we are thinking of how we can best fulfill that philosophy.

While our every desire is to get you what you want, we also have the experience to guide you in some of the decisions you will be faced with in your home design journey. We have the benefit of hundreds of houses designed over the years that allow us to better help you understand some of the ramifications that certain choices may entail - whether it be cost-effectiveness or maintenance or a myriad of other issues that may not have crossed your mind.

Rick Nutter Designs is a very electronically enabled company. Through the internet and email we can work with you no matter where you and your future home site are located. All plans will be sent to you in PDF format which can be read by any computer with Adobe Acrobat Reader; a free download.

This, along with our CAD software, enables us to work with you from anywhere in the country with speed and efficiency. Once we have discussed with you your needs in a home plan, a preliminary idea can usually be sent to you in a matter of a few days. From there, we will continue to work together on the design development until we have finalized what you are looking for in your custom design. After that, the working drawings will be completed and sent to you for a final approval. You will be delighted at the priority attention you receive from Rick Nutter Designs.
